Jeremy Pharr
Jeremy joined Thompson & Associates (then TrustMark Charitable Strategies) in 2002 and serves as a Senior Vice President working from the National Headquarters in Nashville.
He earned a Doctorate of Juris Prudence from Vanderbilt University Law School, and came to Thompson & Associates immediately after sitting for the bar exam. Jeremy earned his undergraduate degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science.
Jeremy and a group of Thompson & Associates colleagues formed the Charitable Estate Planning Institute in 2012, a 501(c)(3) public charity offering top-level education on charitable estate planning for development staff, gift planning officers, and professional advisors. Jeremy serves on the board and is a member of the faculty. He is also a Fellow in Charitable Estate Planning (FCEP) awarded by the Institute.
Each year, Jeremy plans and assists with hundreds of estates across the country. In addition, he has served on nonprofit boards and committees, assisting them with endowment building and planned giving. He also serves as an adjunct professor in the M.B.A. program at David Lipscomb University.
Jeremy and his four children make their home in Nashville, Tennessee. They are active in their church and local community.
